Hold to charge
Hold punch for a haymaker or kick for a heavy. While you hold, the whole fight slows to half speed and the air around him starts to boil.
Hits so loud you can read them.
A stickman brawler. You love the Don’s daughter. The Don keeps sending men.

Fig. 1 — A charged haymaker lands. On a lethal hit the fight freezes, the frame flips to negative, and the word goes up.
Teo Marsh is in love with Nina Severino. Her father, Aurelio Severino, runs the city’s oldest crime family, and he has decided a man like Teo will never marry into it. So he sends men to deal with him: quietly at first, and then not quietly at all.
What the family did not count on is that Teo can fight. It is the one thing his father left him.
The Severino family paid Danny “Iron” Marsh to lose a title fight in the sixth round. He knocked the other man out in the fourth. They made sure he never fought again, and he spent the rest of his life teaching his son everything in an empty gym.
Every night starts at the stairwell door. Teo steps out onto the roof pulling his gloves on, and they are already waiting for him.
There is no final wave: Story mode is a score chase. For now every act is fought across the rooftops, and every second wave puts you on a new one, with its own skyline under the sun or the moon. The docks, the club and the estate are on their way.
Every hit is told as loudly as it landed, from a dry tak to a BOOM that stops the whole fight. What decides it is how far the hit sends him, not which button you pressed, so the jab that finishes a beaten man can still be a BOOM.
A jab or a glancing kick. The fight hardly pauses.
A clean hit. The fight freezes for a beat and the camera leans in.
A heavy one. A longer freeze, a hard shake and a ring of force.
A finisher. Everything stops, the frame flips to negative, and he goes through whatever is behind him.
Land the right hits in the right order and the game calls the string by name, with a bonus to match. Learn them in Practice. The four secrets stay blacked out until you find them.

Six more ways to end it
Hold punch for a haymaker or kick for a heavy. While you hold, the whole fight slows to half speed and the air around him starts to boil.
Uppercut him into the air, keep him up there with air hits, then slam him back into the roof.
Dash across the roof and punch out of it before he knows you moved.
Knock him off the roof. If he catches the ledge, any hit at all sends him down.
Drop on him from the air and ride him down: nine stamps, then a kick that sends him. The world stops to watch. Built for brutes.

DASHthenK· every 14 sThe style meter climbs while you mix it up: new moves, air hits, bodies bounced off the floor, even a taunt in someone’s face. Every rank multiplies your score, up to four times at the top, and the multiplier rides along beside your combo count. Repeat yourself and it dries up. Take a hit and it drops.
Every Story run pays Rep, and going deeper pays the most. Rep climbs seven titles, three steps each, from Rookie I to Champion III. Past that you are a Legend, with a star for every 4,000 more. Practice pays nothing.

The Don sends six kinds of men, and a new kind joins almost every wave. Every one of them winds up before he strikes, and the wind-up is your warning. From wave 3 they come faster and more of them swing at once. From wave 4 they try to surround you, climbing onto whatever you are standing on. And they learn your habits.
